What we collect
We do not ask you to register. We do not collect or store PNR numbers. If you use the contact form we receive the name, email address and message you type.
Cookies and third parties
The map loads tiles from OpenStreetMap, which sees your IP address. Fonts load from Google Fonts. If we show ads in future, ad partners such as Google may use cookies to personalise ads; you can manage this in your Google ad settings.
Live location sharing (“I am onboard”)
If you choose to share your location on the tracker, your browser sends the train number and your coordinates (rounded) every few seconds. No name, account or IP address is stored with it. It is shown publicly as a position of that train and is deleted automatically after about 2 minutes, or immediately when you tap Stop or close the page. You can turn sharing off at any time, and your browser asks for permission first.
PNR and live-status lookups
When you use the PNR status, live status, station board, train search or train details tools, the number or station code you type is sent from our server to a third-party data provider (Railway Engine) to fetch the result. PNR numbers are never cached, logged or stored by us. Some answers are cached for up to a few minutes without any personal data. We do not know who made a request; our server only keeps a short-lived hashed counter per visitor to stop abuse.
